The themed dinner experience with local cuisine was exceptional, showcasing the best of Icelandic flavors.
The lack of daily housekeeping, including no fresh towels or room service, was inconvenient.

Couple seeking adventure
We took a stroll to the nearby troll garden walk,, it was amazing and the quirky vibe of the place made me feel like a kid again. The food was a standout,, especially the mushroom soup,, it was delicious and brought warmth after a long day!
It wasn't cheap, but for what we got, it was still reasonable.

Things I wish I knew before I tried it
Nestled in nature, this hotel is perfect for chasing the Northern Lights! The culinary options at the restaurant are fabulous, especially the duo dishes that let you taste a variety of flavors. On-site walks enhance the experience, but bear in mind the hot tubs can get crowded. Comfy beds made for a restful stay!

The breathtaking scenery with a waterfall right outside the room made mornings truly special. The hot breakfast selection was varied and delicious, adding to the experience. However, communal areas can become crowded, especially the hot tubs in the evening. Additionally, the common kitchen could use more supplies for convenience. I'm eager to return for the hiking trails in the area and the stunning views.

Loved the stunning view of the waterfall from my little yellow house! The troll garden was a whimsical delight and perfect for a post-dinner stroll. Also, the mini golf and hot tub added a cozy touch to the evening.
One shelf in the wardrobe looked older than my grandmother's knitting! Not a dealbreaker, but if I had stayed longer, it might have been a wardrobe tragedy.

I stayed in a Double Room with Waterfall View, and wow, the view was just stunning! The room itself was super comfy and warm, perfect after a long day outside. The breakfast was also great, with a nice spread to kick off our morning hikes. Just a heads up, the Wi-Fi was a bit spotty at times, but nothing too crazy.

Loved the cozy vibe here and the delicious duo plates at dinner really impressed us! The jacuzzis were perfect for unwinding after a long day, and the garden area was a nice spot to relax too. Just a heads up, they had a little mix-up with our dinner pre-order, but it was sorted out quickly, so it didn’t ruin our experience. 😊
